Jason Aldean Concert-Goer Kicks Cop in Bristow: Police

Man involved in previous altercation with fans, kicked an officer trying to handcuff him, according to Prince William County Police.

BRISTOW, VA — An apparently drunk concert-goer at Jiffy Lube Live who tried to dance with two female teenagers before punching their male teenage friend who tried to intervene and later kicked an officer trying to handcuff him has been arrested, according to Prince William County Police.

Steven Alan Taylor, 41, of 12808 Noltland Castle Drive in Bristow, was charged Oct. 1 with assault and battery on a law enforcement officer, assault and battery and public intoxication.

Shortly after 6 p.m., officers working an off-duty assignment at the Jason Aldean concert were alerted to a fight, after which they found the victim, 17, of Audie. He told police he was at the show with a couple of friends and that an unknown man approached them, put his arms around the girls an tried to dance with them.

The boy said he tried to intervene but then was punched in the face.

Police found the suspect nearby and, while to arrest him and 'cuff him, he kicked one of the officers in the lower body, became even more combative and finally was escorted out of the venue.
