Kiwanis Club of Manassas Bull Run to Volunteer with NVFS on Special Day of Service
October 22nd recognized as Kiwanis One Day—a global action day of service benefiting children and communities

The Manassas Bull Run Kiwanis Club is bringing the spirit of service alive in Manassas by volunteering to support our local SERVE shelter and food bank as well as other NVFS programs on October 22nd. Volunteering to help sort and organize donations will take place at the Save ‘N’ Serve Thrift Store.
These activities are being held as part of Kiwanis One Day, a global day of service that unites the entire Kiwanis family, including Kiwanis, Aktion Club, Circle K, Key Club, Builder’s Club and K-Kids. On this day, the Manassas Bull Run Kiwanis Club will join nearly 600,000 volunteers around the world in devoting a few hours to hands-on service. Kiwanis International expects that Kiwanis One Day will contribute nearly one million service hours around the world in just one day.
“The Kiwanis Club of Bull Run is excited that we are doing our first hands-on project in years,” said Kevin Kelley, President. “We will be helping out at the Save ‘N’ Serve Thrift Store. We have supported SERVE monetarily on a consistent basis for many years and helping them hands-on has been a desire of numerous club members. Scheduling it on the same day as Kiwanis One Day is significant and we’re excited to make a difference in the Manassas and Prince William community.”
