Signal Hill Park: A Place for Community and Family Activity

With the weather warming up, one can take advantage of the park which spans 110 acres and boasts an ASA regulation softball field.

There are many recreational areas and playgrounds in Manassas, each with their own special characteristics and qualities. None compare, however, to Signal Hill Park.

With the weather warming up, one can take advantage of the park which spans 110 acres and boasts multi-purpose fields for sports like soccer and softball. In fact, the  park has it all. Here are some of its best features:

  • Tennis courts
  • Basketball courts
  • Running trails
  • 100 sq. foot children’s playground
  • Large pavilion for parties
  • Picnic areas with grills and a pond area
  • Soccer and football fields

The park is also  home to a 27,000 sq. foot aquatic facility and water park, which has water cannons, slides, a sand volleyball court and lazy river. The water park opens soon on Memorial Day and will be open on the weekends only until schools let out and even has a concession stand.

The main outdoor park, however,  is always open, and stays open from dawn until dusk each day. It is the home to many community football and soccer sports teams.

The Manassas landmark is truly one of uniqueness, quality and serenity. From hosting parties to playing basketball games and taking scenic jogs, Signal Hill Park is the perfect place to have fun and stay active this summer with friends and family members.

The park is located at 9300 Signal View Drive in Manassas, right off of Manassas Drive. Entry into the general park area is free but there is a fee to visit the water park! Season passes are available.
