MANASSAS, VA — A man suspected of sneaking into rooms and inappropriately touching sleeping female guests at the Wyndham Garden Hotel at 10800 Vandor Lane was arrested in a sting operation last Thursday, according to Prince William County Police.
Brandon Charles Murdock, 31, of the 500 block of Cater Street in Front Royal, was charged with burglary and attempted aggravated sexual assault.
Following reports of three previous incidents at the hotel, one last month and two last fall, police set up a target room with a decoy in place. Murdock entered the room, approached the bed and was arrested without incident.
