Update: Photos Of Manassas Shooting Suspect Released By Prince William County Police

Updated at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

MANASSAS, VA — Two men were injured during a shooting in Manassas on Sunday night, according to a report from the Prince William County Police Department. Authorities believed that the suspect fled the area after the shooting, which occurred around 10:45 p.m.

The shooting occurred in the 8600 block of Parkland Street. The victims were flown to area hospital to receive treatment for their injuries, police said. The injuries for both victims were not considered life-threatening.

During their investigation, officers determined that one of the victims was in the parking lot of the La Isla restaurant when he saw an unknown man inside his vehicle. The victim, a 22-year-old man, confronted the suspect. During the encounter, the suspect pulled out a gun and fired multiple rounds, striking the victim, police said.

One of the rounds fired by the suspect struck a second victim, a 32-year-old man. Police said the second victim was uninvolved in the confrontation and was standing outside of the business.

After the shooting, the suspect followed the 22-year-old victim into the restaurant and struck him with the firearm, according to the police report. The suspect then fled the scene in a gray Nissan Pathfinder.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man who is about 5 feet, 5 inches tall with medium-length straight black hair. He was wearing a red hat, a red polo-style shirt, and dark-colored blue jeans.
