3 Displaced Due To Sunday House Fire In McLean
The cause of an early Sunday morning fire remains under investigation, according to Fairfax County Fire and Rescue.

MCLEAN, VA — Three people are displaced after a house fire in McLean on Sunday, according to the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department.
Units had responded around 1:56 a.m. Sunday to a single-family home in the 1000 block of Towlston Road. Fire was showing from the front door of the two-story home. Units requested a tanker task force due to limited fire hydrants in the area, bringing in more units from Fairfax County and Montgomery County, Maryland.
Crews knocked the fire down from the outside and entered the home to extinguish the fire. There were no injuries.

Three residents were home when the fire occurred. The residents had smelled smoke and discovered the fire in the basement.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Damages were estimated to be around $115,000.
