Capital One Hall also partners with Fairfax County to offer arts organizations discounted rates to use the space through Arts Fairfax. Jon Griffith, managing director at Capital One Hall, told Patch the organizations also get access to the venue's operator, ASM Global, which can provide expertise on helping them grow. A few of the organizations that will use venue space will be the Vienna-Falls Chorus and Fairfax Symphony Orchestra.

The goal is for the organizations to grow at Capital One Hall, advancing from black box theater performances to the main theater. As arts organizations weathered challenges of the pandemic, Griffith hopes Capital One Hall can help the arts thrive in Fairfax County.

"We hope to see this venue be a catalyst for the arts," said Griffith.

The venue entrance is located on Capital One Tower Road along with the box office. From there, visitors head into the entrance lobby and up the escalator, stairs or elevator to the Atrium. This grand hall, equipped with a bar and ceiling soaring several stories high, can serve as a main lobby during performances and private event space. Next to the Atrium is The Terrace, an outside extension of the main lobby.

The main theater can be accessed on the main level of The Atrium or by heading up the Grand Stair to the balconies. The main theater is equipped for Broadway performances, concerts and other events.

Concessions are located on the Atrium and balcony levels. One of the areas is a private space near the main theater that will be used for concessions before events or can be rented for private events. The executive chef of Capital One Hall, Linton Romero, described the concessions menu as "easy, accessible, hearty and light." Along with snacks such as gourmet popcorn from Alexandria-based America's Favorite Popcorn and fresh cookies, other items can serve as a meal. The Hall Club is designed around ham, turkey, Gruyere cheese, bacon and egg, while the grilled mushroom shawarma pita is a vegan offering.

Romero also hopes to offer one or two special items themed for individual shows. For example, there will be barbecue items for the "Little Big Town" performances.

The main theater space is located between the Wegmans loading dock and The Perch, a publicly-accessible sky park on the 11th floor. Guests can access The Perch through entrances on the north and south ends of the Capital One Hall on the street level or from access points inside the venue. The Perch includes park space, a Starr Hill Biergarten, and outdoor amphitheater-style venue. The Perch is also accessible from the 11th floor of the new Watermark Hotel. The hotel will include a Japanese-American fusion restaurant called Wren on the 11th floor, opening in October.

The second phase of The Perch is expected to open next spring. According to Romero, there will be a mini golf course along with food trucks that will be transported up by crane. The food trucks will be designed to stay at The Perch permanently. One will have a London double-decker bus theme, and the other will be a chrome streamliner.
