The branch and much of its staff, led by top-producing mortgage originator Chris Channell, joined the company from another local lender.

Channell, who has been in the mortgage industry since 2009, has been ranked among the top 1 percent of loan originators in the nation for loan volume by Mortgage Executive magazine.
