Free Concerts In The Park Begin In McLean
Looking for something to do on the weekends? Free summers concerts in the park are back in McLean.

MCLEAN, VA—Fourth of July has come and gone, but luckily there's still outdoor events for McLean residents to enjoy throughout the month.
The Summer Sundays Concerts in the Park are back every Sunday in July. The free performances are held at the McLean Central Park Gazebo, (1468 Dolley Madison Blvd).

The series kicked off July 2 with Ocean Quartet, a Celtic group taking inspiration from Ireland and Scotland.

July 9: Trio Caliente
The group's music is a blend of Flamenco, pop and Brazilian jazz, and they have performed throughout the U.S. and abroad. With a sound like The Gipsy Kings, Buena Vista Social Club and Strunz & Farah, the group performs in Spanish, Portuguese, Catalan and English. You'll want to bring your dancing shoes, because you'll be moving to their Latin grooves.
July 16: Da Capo
This a capella quartet not only harmonizes, but they can throw down a mean beatbox. The DC-based group specializes in barbershop-style music and started in 2009 by singing s marriage proposal to one of the member's wife-to-be.
July 23: Slim Harrison & The Barnstormers with the Rockcandy Cloggers
You can't get more authentic folk music than this. The band specializes in mountain music and have been performing since 1980. They will joined by The RockCandy Cloggers, the most dynamic dancing duo in the region.
July 30: Kara and Matty D
The two are not only a couple, but a musical duo. The group performs songs from different eras across the Northern Virginia area.
