Free Pizza For &pizza Opening In Tysons
The first guests in line will get free pizzas when the new Tysons Corner Center location opens.

TYSONS CORNER, VA—Foodies will be delighted to learn the date has been set for local pizza phenomenon &pizza at Tysons Corner Center—and the opening involves free food. The new location will open at 1961 Chain Bridge Road Tuesday, Nov. 21 at 11 a.m.
The first 124 guests in line on grand opening day will receive free pizzas. In addition, &pizza will also offer free tattoos of the brand’s trademark logo to the first 24 guests in line who request them. Those interested will get scheduled with Laughing Hyena in Columbia Heights (1454 Park Rd NW). Once inked, they will receive free pizza for a year.
DC foodies can recognize &pizza pies since they do not look like the typical circular pie. &pizza crafts its pies in an oval shape and is served in long, rectangular boxes. The pizza chain allows customers to build a pie from scratch with unlimited ingredients or choose a signature pizza. Some of its custom pizzas include Dirty Bird, a limited-time buffalo chicken pizza; the American Honey, a spicy take on pepperoni pizza topped with honey and Gnarlic, a spin on the white pie. There are also gluten-free and vegan offerings, as well as craft sodas and teas.

The DC-based pizza chain is also known for its commitment to all things local. The shop will feature a mural by MasPaz depicting fruits and vegetables once grown the now-bustling Tysons region. This marks the local chain's 24th shop and fifth in Virginia.
“We’re excited to be opening in Tysons, a place that has rich cultural and agricultural history.” said Michael Lastoria, founder of &pizza, in a statement. “As a city at the forefront of so many industries, what better place for &pizza.”

In addition, a location in the Ballston neighborhood of Arlington is set to open next year. The chain has recently expanded to other metropolitan areas with one Philadelphia and two New York locations. The first location opened in Washington, D.C.'s H Street Corridor in 2012.
The Tysons &pizza location will be open daily from 11 a.m.-10 p.m.
