Man Wanted For Fairfax Shooting Caught In McLean
Police found the suspect in McLean after he fled from the scene of the shooting.
A man believed to have shot another person in Fairfax Tuesday was caught and arrested in McLean.
Police say the man and victim were arguing when the shooting happened in the 4100 block of Brookgreen Drive around 7:35 a.m. The man shot the victim in the lower body and fled from the scene.
The man had been far from the shooting scene when police found him. Khalid Zamani, 31, of Woodbridge faces charges of malicious wounding, abduction, robbery and use of a firearm.

The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Detectives are continuing to investigate this case.
