McLean Business To Install Bathroom Grab Bars For Person In Need
Anyone can nominate a person who could benefit from grab bars, which make a bathroom safer and more accessible.
MCLEAN, VA—For a person with limited mobility, grab bars could be the difference to create a safer bathroom in their home. A McLean business wants to help one local resident with free grab bar installation in their bathroom.
House Doctors of McLean is taking nominations for their free grab bar giveaway and installation. Anyone can nominate a person who would benefit from this installation. Grab bars can support a person getting in and out of a bathtub or shower among other uses.
"Installing grab bars dramatically improves the safety of a home, especially for those with poor balance or limited mobility," said House Doctors of McLean owner Rich Marzan. "However, like any home renovation or modification project, it comes with an out-of-pocket cost. Having limited mobility can be challenging if your home isn’t set up with an accommodating layout, so through this giveaway we hope to positively impact someone’s life by making it easier for daily living."
