McLean Woman With Open Bottle Of Wine In Car Arrested
A McLean woman with an open bottle of wine in her car was arrested. Her alcohol related-charge is a repeat offense.
MCLEAN, VA—A McLean woman was arrested in Vienna when found with an open bottle of wine in her car.
Around 10:48 p.m. on Friday, July 14, police saw the 60-year-old woman commit a number of traffic offenses and pulled her over at the 100 Block Branch Road SE. The officer found the open wine bottle and a cup containing alcohol and the woman showing signs of impairment. She was arrested after failing several sobriety tests. The woman refused to take a breathalyzer test at the police station, and she was taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.

The woman is charged with driving while intoxicated, drinking while driving and refusal. Her identity was not released, but it is her second offense.
