Mice Droppings, Food Handling Without Gloves: Restaurant Violations In McLean

MCLEAN, VA -- Fairfax County regularly conducts health inspections for local restaurants. The frequency of inspections on the type of food served and how it is prepared.

“In our experience, it is unrealistic to expect that a complex, full-service food operation can routinely avoid any violations,” states the Virginia Department of Health’s website.

Here are some of the violations from recent inspections in May. Among the violations were mice droppings found around a restaurant, employees handling food without gloves, refrigerators not cooling food properly and employees failing to wash hands before handling food.
