New Food Hall Announced To Replace Closed Isabella Eatery
A number of small businesses are taking over the space at Tysons Galleria.

TYSONS, VA—While the Isabella Eatery concept didn't pan out at Tysons Galleria, foodies can look forward to a new food hall coming to the mall's third level. Urbanspace, a developer of public markets, is revamping the food hall to feature numerous DC area small businesses. The food hall will be called A Taste of Urbanspace.
News broke last week that Del Ray's Stomping Ground signed on to open at Tysons Galleria. Other restaurants confirmed for the food hall include: Andy’s Pizza, Ice Cream Jubilee, Donburi and Thip Khao. Other restaurants could be announced in the coming days.
"We are excited to partner with Tysons Galleria, as part of our broader mission to celebrate community and foster growth for local entrepreneurs," Urbanspace President Eldon Scott said in a statement. "Having the opportunity to utilize our operational experience to enable small businesses to shine amongst some of the most iconic global brands at this center is something we are most proud of."

Urbanspace aims to open the food hall for the holiday shopping season as soon as Wednesday, Nov. 28, but that date could be changed. The food hall is in the process of securing permits, The Washington Post reported. Hours will be 11 a.m.- 9 p.m. Monday to Saturday and noon-6 p.m. on Sunday. It will be closed on Christmas Day.
Isabella Eatery, originally a nine-concept food hall debuting in late 2017, closed in August. The location showed signs of struggling after one of Mike Isabella's former employees filed a sexual harassment lawsuit. Isabella filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in September.
