No Fireplace? No Problem, When There's Yule Log TV
Set the scene for your holidays with a little crackling fire going on your screen from WDCW-50, Netflix or YouTube.

If there’s no fireplace in sight during your holidays, there’s always Yule Log TV and you’ve (almost) got a roaring fire going in the background while you sip your eggnog and unwrap gifts.
Nothing says kitschy holiday like Yule Log TV. It got its start in New York on WPIX in 1966. The Yule Log premiered in full-color on Christmas Eve, Saturday, Dec. 24, 1966, at 9:30 p.m. on WPIX Channel 11 in New York City, according to PIX-11.
Locally, you can find “Yule Log” playing in the metro DC area on WDCW-50 from 9-11 a.m. on Christmas morning. If it’s not on Channel 50, check your cable guide to find the channel. If you’ll be out of town you can check here to see where else its playing, what channel it’s on and what time they’re playing it.
