North Italia Added To Restaurant Offerings At Tysons Development
The Boro is expecting other restaurant openings in summer 2020.
TYSONS, VA — The Boro mixed-use development in Tysons has one new restaurant offering with the opening of North Italia. The restaurant confirmed the opening at 1651 Boro Place on its website, while The Boro announced other openings to expect in 2020.
The North Italia menu features an array of handmade Italian foods. A few of the small plate offerings are burrata, proscuitto bruschetta, black Mediterranean mussels and arancini. Guests can choose form specialty pizza options or try the daily chef's choice. Pasta and entree options include the house specialty bolognese, squid ink malfadine, strozzapreti and roasted salmon.
Food can be paired with a selection of wines, beer and cocktails. Top it off with desserts like salted caramel budino, tiramisu and affogato. The Boro, a development bordered by Leesburg Pike, Westpark Drive and Greensboro Drive, has a number of other openings planned. The ShowPlace ICON at Tysons movie theater is expected to open in the coming weeks. El Bebe Tacos & Tequila, Open Road Grill and CaliBurger are expected to open in the summer.
Paris Baguette, an international bakery, opened in January at 8344 Broad Street, McLean, while Whole Foods with a food hall and pub opened in late October. Flower Child and Tropical Smoothie Cafe have also opened.

The Boro is a multi-phase developement with residential, retail and office uses. Its apartment buildings Rise and Bolden have opened, at The Verse condominium building held its grand opening in late January.
