Northern Virginia Weather: Can Rain Stay Away For Work Week?
Better days are expected most of the work week in Northern Virginia, but there's still a chance for rain to interfere.

STERLING, VA—After storms took over the area for part of the weekend, Northern Virginia may see clearer skies for most of the work week. But storms have a slight chance of raining on our parades at several points. That's the word for the area outpost of the National Weather Service in Sterling.
Showers could come in between nice weather in the early week. Then we could see a repeat of this weekend as thunderstorms have a chance of reappearing Friday.

Monday: Mostly cloudy, with highs in the mid 80s.

Monday Night: There will be a slight chance of showers with lows below the 70s. The chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
Tuesday: A 20 percent chance of precipitation continues, but the day will be partly sunny with highs in the mid 80s.
Tuesday Night: Slight chances of showers remain in the evening forecast. Skies will be partly cloudy with lows in the 70s.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny skies will return with highs near the 90s.
Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy skies are expected with lows in the 70s.
Thursday: The day will be partly sunny with highs near the 90s.
Thursday Night: Partly cloudy skies are expected with lows in the 70s.
Friday: Chances of showers and thunderstorms return with highs near the 90s. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.
Friday Night: Chances of showers and thunderstorms continue with lows in the 70s. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.
Saturday: Partly sunny skies may make a comeback with highs in the 80s.
