Person Dies After Drowning In McLean Pool: Police

The drowning happened at an alcohol and drug addiction recovery house, according to media reports.

MCLEAN, VA—A person died in an apparent drowning in a McLean pool Saturday, June 15.

The drowning happened in the 1100 block of Pine Hill Road. It is the location of Oxford House Kings Manor, a recovery house for alcoholics and drug addicts that houses up to 11 residents, Fox5 reported.

Police responded around 3 p.m. Saturday for the reported drowning. The person was pulled from the pool and pronounced dead on the scene. The victim was identified as Justin Hollman, 31, of Chesapeake.

It is unclear how long Hollman had been in the pool and how he drowned. The medical examiner will determine the cause and manner of death through an autopsy.
