Residents Escape Fire At McLean Home

Firefighters responded to a fire in a home's attic on Thursday morning.

MCLEAN, VA—Residents have evacuated from a house fire in McLean Thursday morning.

Units responded to the 6500 block of West Langley Lane, according to a 7:40 a.m. tweet. The fire was located in the attic and did not spread anywhere else.

As of 9:04 a.m., the blaze was out and firefighters were working to remove insulation from the attic. The Arlington Fire Department assisted with the response.
