Murphy has now received the first editorial board endorsement of the campaign to fill the open 34th House District seat, picking up crucial support from the Sun Gazette.
Murphy enters the final days of the campaign with strong support for her plans to grow the Northern Virginia economy, invest in education and keep our communities safe.

“Given her longer involvement with the district she hopes to serve, we will take the plunge and support Murphy in the special election, urging voters in Great Falls and parts of McLean and Loudoun to do the same. As with Comstock two years ago, our endorsement is not unqualified. But we think Murphy has paid her dues and are hopeful she will serve her constituents well if sent down to Richmond.”
