No Injuries After Truck Jackknifes On Beltway In McLean
The tractor-trailer crash blocked several lanes on the Capital Beltway Friday afternoon.
MCLEAN, VA—A tractor-trailer jackknifed on the Capital Beltway in McLean Friday afternoon, authorities say. No injuries were reported.
The crash happened on northbound Interstate 495 at Georgetown Pike. Fairfax County Fire and Rescue crews have secured a fuel leak.
WTOP Traffic reported the crash at 2:29 p.m. VDOT said traffic was backed up for approximately 7.8 miles.

Virginia State Police are on the scene. As of 5:45 p.m., the left shoulder and adjacent left lane are closed.
