Tysons Corner Fire Starts In Dumpster

Firefighters found a fire in a dumpster and smoke in a trash chute Friday morning in Tysons.

TYSONS, VA—A fire started in a dumpster in Tysons Corner not far from the Spring Hill Metro Station Friday morning, Fairfax County's Fire and Rescue Department said.

Crews quickly put out the fire in the 1500 Boyd Pointe Way. The department notified residents of the incident around 7:40 a.m.

There were no reports of injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
