Tysons Galleria May Get Theater In Macy's Space: Report
Reports have indicated an iPic theater could land in the mall.
TYSONS, VA—When the Macy's at Tysons Galleria closes, there will be room for other businesses on three floors. One report indicates it could include a iPic theater.
Washington Business Journal first reported a staff report for the Fairfax County Planning Commission with illustrations depicting the theater. The drawings include a movie theater, restaurant and outdoor dining. The illustrations were in the staff report for a request for signage change at Tysons Galleria, up for approval by the planning commission.
iPic, which has a location at Pike & Rose in Bethesda, Md., was reportedly in discussions with Tysons Galleria. No official plans for the redevelopment of the three-level Macy's have been announced. The Macy's remains open at this time.
