Wegmans Coming to McLean, Will Be Part of Capital One Development
The Capital One campus site is currently zoned to include 4.97 million square feet of transit-oriented mixed-use development.

Wegmans Food Markets has reached a preliminary agreement to bring a supermarket to Capital One’s corporate headquarters site in McLean, according to Capital One.
The store will be located at Capital One’s corporate campus at the Beltway and Route 123 and within one block of the first Tysons stop on the Metro Silver Line.
Wegmans approached Capital One regarding the potential deal through Roadside Development of the District, Capital One said. Roadside is currently in discussions to provide additional consulting services pertaining to the design of the site.

The Wegmans will be subject to Fairfax County approvals, Capital One points out. The store is projected to open in 2019.
