Back to School Campaign: United Community Donations Due 8/5!
Donate new backpacks or funds to help purchase school supplies -- so students living in hardship have a chance to succeed at school!
Help students who are living in hardship to be ready to succeed for the new school year!
School Supplies = Creativity, Literacy, Empowerment, and Self-Esteem for Kids in Need
The new school year starts this year in Fairfax County on Aug. 26 -- and United Community's annual Back to School Campaign is ready for your donations! We rely on our community for new backpacks and financial gifts that will outfit local students whose families are struggling to make ends meet.

Donations are needed no later than Monday, Aug. 5 at United Community's main office at at 7511 Fordson Rd., Alexandria VA 22306. The office is open weekdays, from 9 am - 5 pm. (Email us if you need help for a large delivery, or to deliver outside regular hours .)
Many thanks for the new backpacks and funds that are already coming in and to the organizations who are hosting collection drives, including many vacation bible schools and faith communities like Good Shepherd Catholic Church and Plymouth Haven Baptist Vacation Bible School.
