Do Dogs Go To Heaven?

In honor of the Feast Day of Saint Francis of Assisi (October 4), Epiphany Lutheran Church 5521 Old Mill Road Alexandria will hold a Pet Blessing Service at 1:00PM this Sunday (9/30).  Bring your furry or feathered friends this Sunday for a blessing and give thanks to God for the blessing they are.

Our question today is "Do Dogs (cats, birds, or anything else we call pets) Go To Heaven?"

My thinking about that has "evolved" over the years.  I believe that whatever is capable of being (and giving) love in this world is able to be redeemed.
