Celebration of America250, on July 11, 2026, as the community comes together for two meaningful symbolic groundbreakings honoring the history, resilience, and legacy of Gum Springs. Beginning at 8:45 a.m. at Cornerstone Church of Christ, located at the corner of Fordson Road and Sherwood Hall Lane and then a short walk to the Gum Springs Legacy Walkway site, located between Dumas and Douglas Streets. This site is more than ground awaiting development—it is a canvas for vision, a place where purpose can take root and grow into a destination that carries meaning forward for generations.
