Carla worked in childhood education in her college studies and to help the family get established, and later served as a full-time mother and homemaker. She was very active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, in her community working in the elementary school PTA and as a Girl Scout leader, and was loved and adored by all who knew her.
