Dogtopia's 10th Annual Charity Dog Wash

Every year, Dogtopias all over the country hold an annual dog wash to raise money for working dogs. Last year, our location raised almost $2,000 and the company as a whole raised over $30,000! The first dog wash fundraiser was held in July of 2005 at a Dogtopia location in Vienna, Va. The goal was to generate support for military dogs and their handlers serving overseas. The result was an event which attracted national attention and $9,000 in donations. Funds enabled the shipping of 5,000 lbs. of supplies including cooling pads, protective eye wear and clothing, a few peanut butter treats, and Frisbees!
This year's Charity Dog Wash will raise funds for the veteran assistance dogs program at Paws with a Cause to enhance the quality of life for disabled veterans! Paws with a Cause is equally excited and appreciative of the support all Dogtopia locations are providing so they can continue doing great work. Founded in 1979, PAWS has since placed more than 2,500 assistance dogs across the U.S. Over the last 35 years, Paws with a Cause has made a tremendous impact by training and placing assistance dogs and, in turn, has enriched the lives of the many people they help. Learn more about the organization at pawswithacause.org.

Our dog wash will be held on Sunday, June 22 from 10am – 2pm. For a $15 suggested donation, dogs will enjoy a refreshing summertime scrub and spritz, topped off by a decorative bandana. While the dogs are being washed, owners will have time to enter our raffle, enjoy a snack, and visit vendor tables.
