This school year, the Career Center will be offering three (3) Coffee Hour presentations for parents. Each Coffee Hour will run from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. The presentations will be held in either the Career Center or in G-100. If you are interested in attending any of the Coffee Hours, please RSVP to Ms. Jones in the Career Center by email at adjones@fcps.edu or call 703-619-3118 by the specified deadline date. Please include your name and the presentation topic(s) you are interested in attending. On the date of the presentation, after you have checked in the main office, you will be directed to the proper location. I hope you are available to attend. Please, however, remember to RSVP.
Understanding your child's PSAT results--Thursday, January 26th-9:00 AM to 10:30 AM (RSVP-Jan 24th)—Targeted grade level: 9th-11th
Helping your student with the college application process and finding scholarships--Wednesday, February 22nd- 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM ( RSVP- Feb 20th)—Targeted grade level: 9th-12th
Understanding your child's financial aid award letter--Tuesday, March 27th-9:00 AM to 10:30 AM (RSVP-Mar 23rd)—Targeted grade level: 12th
