VA/MD/DC Mandatory Boating Education Class

This day long course is presented by the US Coast Guard Auxiliary.  It meets the boating education requirements of all states, including VA, MD, and DC.  Students receive a course manual (About Boating Safely), instruction from active and retired Coast Guard personnel and licensed merchant marine officers with decades of experience on local and offshore waters, a completion certificate and wallet card for use if boarded by marine police, free membership in BOAT/US and West Marine Store discounts.  For more information, or to enroll in the class, contact: Rich Miller, 703 780 3765, or email eaglesailor75@cox.net.  The course costs $40 ($60 for two who share a single manual).
