Fairfax County Animal Shelter Seeks Owner of Dog

Sheltie was brought to shelter last week, after surviving on the loose in the Lorton area for six months.

The folks at the Fairfax County Animal Shelter need your help. A dog that has been on the run for six months in the Lorton area was brought in to safety to the shelter last week. Here’s their message:

This little girl is the smallest Sheltie we’ve ever seen. She’s barely bigger than a large cat! She’s been on the run for six months in the Lorton area and was brought to safety earlier this week by Animal Control Officer Lugo. We’re hoping to find her owner but if no one comes forward, she’ll be available for adoption sometime next week. Please share to help us find her person!

If you have information about this dog, call the shelter at (703) 830-1100.
