Final Day for Friends of Sherwood Library Back to School Sale

LAST DAY FOR BACK TO SCHOOL SALE. The Friends of Sherwood Library bookstore is open Wednesday, September 6, 1 – 5 PM for the final day of the special back to school sale. Regular hours resume on Sunday, September 10, 1-3. The library is located at 2501 Sherwood Hall Lane, Alexandria, 22309.

Our once-a-year Back to School Sale features all specially priced items half off – including children’s books. Regular price kids’ books: buy one, get one free. $5 bag sale on adult fiction, with some exceptions.

Did you know our inventory is donated by members of the community? We greatly appreciate donations of kids’ games and puzzles, good quality books and electronic media in resalable condition. We currently are in special need of audio books and CDs; please no magazines or encyclopedias. Receipts available for tax purposes.
