Friends of Sherwood Library Bookstore features like-new used books

Hours for the Friends of Sherwood Library bookstore are Wednesday 1-4 PM and Sunday 1-3 PM. The library is located at 2501 Sherwood Hall Lane, Alexandria, 22309.

We have recently added many new books in the following categories: art of the Old West, Seamanship and boats, and an 8 volume Encyclopedia of Philosophy. Additionally, we have thousands of children's books, many in like new condition, current fiction and nonfiction.

BOGO! Put our September back-to-school sale on your calendars now. From August 30 through September 6 all children’s regular price books will be buy one, get one free, with ALL special price books half off. We have thousands of books for all ages, including texts and resources for teachers and homeschool leaders.

Did you know our inventory is donated by members of the community? Our sale and support of the library depend on your generosity. We greatly appreciate donations of good quality books in a condition suitable for purchase; please no magazines or encyclopedias.
