Friends of Sherwood Library Bookstore hours this week
Used bookstore has items for all ages, including electronic media.
This week the Friends of Sherwood Library bookstore is open on Wednesday from 1 – 4 PM and Sunday, 1 – 3 PM. The library is located at 2501 Sherwood Hall Lane, Alexandria, 22306.
We have recently received extensive donations of history and biography books. In addition, we have received a wonderful collection of “The Sporting News” Baseball Guides and Baseball Registers from 1990-2005 (various years), in great shape. For your convenience, all these recent arrivals have been placed on carts in the sale room.
Our featured category through January is “Women’s Studies: Historical and Contemporary.” Look for these books in the sales room on the bookcase near the door.

Recently our supply of vinyl has become seriously depleted. Also, the bookstore selection of classics is becoming somewhat sparse. Donations in those categories will be especially welcome. The bookstore always appreciates donations in all categories, both fiction and nonfiction, in resalable condition. Please, no magazines or encyclopedias. Receipts are available for tax purposes.
