Friends of Sherwood Library Bookstore hours this week
Featured this week: Halloween books for kids, 7-volume Sin City graphic novels, recent novels
The bookstore will be open for regular sale hours on Wednesday, 1-4 PM and Sunday, 1-3 PM. Items from the ongoing booksale on the first floor hallway and the second floor open lobby are available for purchase whenever the library is open. The library is located at 2501 Sherwood Hall Lane, Alexandria, 22306.
Recent donations featured on our Special Price table include many of JANE’S hardcover catalogs; for example “Infantry Weapons 1988-89” and “Military Logistics, 1990-91.” Other special price items: the 7 volume Frank Miller graphic novel “Sin City,” and “Lego Architecture: the Visual Guide.”
In the children’s room we have a box of “Hauntingly Good Reads” and on our mystery shelves are recent donations of a set of Michael Jecks’ “Knights Templar” paperback mysteries.

Thanks to recent generous donations, we have added an entire cart of fiction books to the second floor open lobby sales area, and inside the sales room we have a beautiful 20 volume set of the 2002 “Book of Knowledge.”
Remember, EVERY SUNDAY, during our regular bookstore hours (1 to 3 PM), Special Price books located in the Special Price room will be half off their sticker price. All books with a red "slash" through the price sticker qualify for this special sale. New books are added weekly. This discount is ONLY available during Sunday sales and excludes children's books. Look for the red slash and enjoy lower prices!

The bookstore always appreciates donations in all categories, both fiction and nonfiction, in resalable condition. Please, no magazines or encyclopedias. Receipts are available for tax purposes.
