The Friends of Sherwood Library bookstore is open on Wednesday from 1 – 4 PM and Sunday, 1 – 3 PM. The library is located at 2501 Sherwood Hall Lane, Alexandria, 22306.
This week the bookstore is able to feature several unusual collections, thanks to recent generous donations. Specifically, we now have many books in the Hungarian language; an additional box full of old vinyl records; and a 39 volume set of The Yale Shakespeare books (mostly plays) from the 1965 printing.
Spring is in the air at the bookstore. Make plans to start or expand your outdoor space and browse our large selection of gardening and home improvement books.

We constantly update and add to our children’s selections, featuring like-new picture books, easy readers, young adult series, classics, fiction and non-fiction for all grades and reading levels. This week we’ve added some nice hardcover Nancy Drew mysteries.
The bookstore always appreciates donations in all categories, both fiction and nonfiction, in resalable condition. Please, no magazines or encyclopedias. Receipts are available for tax purposes.
