Friends of Sherwood Library Bookstore hours this week
In weekly update, bookstore adds field guides to birds, audio cassette books, and Marvel comic books.
The Friends of Sherwood Library bookstore is open on Wednesday from 1 – 4 PM and Sunday, 1 – 3 PM. The library is located at 2501 Sherwood Hall Lane, Alexandria, 22306.
This week the bookstore has done a complete restocking of our audio books on cassette tape section. If you still have access to a tape player, now is your chance to stock up on popular books.
We also have received a generous donation of dozens of “bird books,” including field guides for various U.S. regions.

This week we’ve added graphic novels from Marvel, including Stars Wars and the Walking Dead, and also from Nickelodeon and Lego. We constantly update and add to our children’s selections, featuring like-new picture books, easy readers, young adult series, classics, fiction and non-fiction for all grades and reading levels.
The bookstore always appreciates donations in all categories, both fiction and nonfiction, in resalable condition. Please, no magazines or encyclopedias. Receipts are available for tax purposes.
