Friends of Sherwood Library Bookstore hours this week
Special features this week at library Bookstore include DVDs and kids' popular series.
The Friends of Sherwood Library bookstore is open on Wednesday from 1 – 4 PM (weather permitting) and Sunday, 1 – 3 PM. The library is located at 2501 Sherwood Hall Lane, Alexandria, 22306.
Movie fans take note! The bookstore has received a generous donation of over 120 DVDs, including many multi-film offerings and some TV series (remember “ALF” or “Sea Hunt”?). For your convenience, all these new-to-us DVDs are collected on one cart.
Recent donations of several popular series in the children’s section are also featured on a separate cart. We have a like-new hardcover 13 volume Lemony Snicket “Unfortunate Events” set; many various American Girl stories; and many volumes from the “Puppy Place,” the “Magic Tree House,” “Junie B. Jones,” and “Baby Mouse” series. Beautiful examples of the “Madeline” stories are also included.

Believe it or not it’s spring, and our large collection of gardening books can help you get ready for warmer weather.
The bookstore always appreciates donations in all categories, both fiction and nonfiction, in resalable condition. Please, no magazines or encyclopedias. Receipts are available for tax purposes.
