Friends of Sherwood Library Bookstore hours this week

The Friends of Sherwood Library bookstore is open on Wednesday from 1 – 4 PM and Sunday, 1 – 3 PM. The library is located at 2501 Sherwood Hall Lane, Alexandria, 22306.

Movie and music fans take note! Due to the storm-related library closing last week we have held-over our huge selection of newly-donated 120 DVDs and have added over 4 dozen additional donations. Not only that, but in the same section, for your convenience, we have included more than 80 new-to-us CDs, featuring all music genres.

We have made an exception to our “no encyclopedias” rule and are offering a pristine,1993, complete 29 volume set of the Funk & Wagnalls desk edition encyclopedia, plus a companion 2-volume dictionary, for $25.

Believe it or not it’s spring, and our large collection of gardening books can help you get ready for warmer weather.

The bookstore always appreciates donations in all categories, both fiction and nonfiction, in resalable condition. Please, no magazines or encyclopedias. Receipts are available for tax purposes.
