Friends of Sherwood Library Bookstore hours this week
Library Bookstore features new donations re American Indians; evolution; and science fiction
The Friends of Sherwood Library bookstore is open this week on Wednesday from 1 – 4 PM and Sunday, 1 – 3 PM. The library is located at 2501 Sherwood Hall Lane, Alexandria, 22306.
New donations this week spotlight several specific areas: non-fiction books on the American Indian shelf; books on evolution in our science/nature section; a cart full of science fiction; and many volumes in the old Nancy Drew series.
We continue to offer old vinyl records at 50 cents each; a like-new 54-volume set of Great Books; and a vast selection of children’s and young adult books, many in gift-quality condition. Our “coffee table books” selection has many exciting additions in all genres.

Every week we put out a new selection of recently donated history/biography books on a separate cart.
The bookstore always appreciates donations in all categories, both fiction and nonfiction, in resalable condition. Please, no magazines or encyclopedias. Receipts are available for tax purposes.
