Friends of Sherwood Library Bookstore offers bargains and like-new books

This week the Friends of Sherwood Library bookstore is open Wednesday from 1 – 4 PM, and Sunday from 1-3 PM. The library is located at 2501 Sherwood Hall Lane, Alexandria, 22306.

This week we’re featuring an eclectic assortment of special donations, including art exhibition books, cookbooks, mystery and historical novels, and nonfiction tomes. We are also re-stocking a cart full of books we have previously had special prices on. All these books will have a yellow slash on the sticker and will be half off.

PLEASE NOTE: On November 4 & 5 we will have a sale of vintage/antiquarian/old books. We’ll send additional details in the weeks to come. If you have any books that might fit into those categories please feel free to donate them.

Did you know our inventory is donated by members of the community? We greatly appreciate donations of kids’ games and puzzles, good quality books and electronic media in resalable condition. We currently are in special need of audio books and CDs; please no magazines or encyclopedias. Receipts are available for tax purposes.
