Friends of Sherwood Library Bookstore open regular hours

The bookstore will be open regular hours on Wednesday, 1-4 PM, and Sunday, 1-3 PM. If the library is closed on Wednesday due to inclement weather, the bookstore will open on Thursday afternoon instead.

Items from the ongoing booksale in the first floor hallway and the second floor open lobby are available for purchase whenever the library is open. The library is located at 2501 Sherwood Hall Lane, Alexandria, 22306.

This week we are fortunate to feature an assortment of nearly-new jigsaw puzzles. Look for these on a cart in the special price room.

Also this week we are offering the complete Harry Potter series, volumes 1-7, in hardcover. These particular volumes will be sold as a complete set; we also have individual HP volumes for sale.

Thanks to a recent donation of a wonderful assortment of cookbooks, both the cookbook cart in the second floor lobby and the bookstore cookbook shelves have been completely restocked. The special price table also has all new selections, including 4 “Wonder Woman” graphic novels.

Did you know our inventory is donated by members of the community? Our bookstore and support of the library depend on your generosity. We are in special need of large print book donations. The bookstore always appreciates donations in all categories, both fiction and nonfiction, in resalable condition. Please, no magazines or encyclopedias. Receipts are available for tax purposes.
