Friends of Sherwood Library bookstore open Wednesday this week.
Friends' bookstore features "Midsomer Murders" DVD sets this week. Due to New Year's holiday, bookstore closed on Sunday and Monday.
Please note: this week the Friends of Sherwood Library bookstore is open only on Wednesday from 1 – 4 PM. The library is closed for the New Year’s holiday on December 31 and January 1. The library is located at 2501 Sherwood Hall Lane, Alexandria, 22306.
This week we have received extensive donations of DVDs, including many “Midsomer Murders” sets. Also, this week is your last chance to own a complete 22 volume World Book Encyclopedia set, from 1993.
Our featured category, through January, is “Women’s Studies: Historical and Contemporary.” Look for these books in the sales room on the bookcase near the door.

The bookstore always appreciates donations in all categories, both fiction and nonfiction, in resalable condition. Please, no magazines or encyclopedias. Receipts are available for tax purposes.
