The bookstore will be open on Wednesday, 1-4 PM, and Sunday, 1-3 PM. Items from the ongoing book sale in the first floor hallway and in the second floor open lobby are available for purchase whenever the library is open. The library is located at 2501 Sherwood Hall Lane, Alexandria, 22306.

This week our special price table includes an extremely wide selection of new items, including “The Oil Painter’s Pocket Palette”; Smith & Roberson’s “Business Law” (9th edition); a signed first edition of Grisham’s “The Rooster Bar”; many individual graphic novels from DC Comics; and a new, 5-volume complete set of Brandon Mull’s “Fablehaven.”

Each week we continue to add to our extensive collection of music offerings, including sheet music, instructional booklets, and books about music and musicians, and we constantly expand our children’s and teen selections with like-new books, games, and puzzles. We encourage everyone to begin stocking up on summer reading from our large collection of new and quality books in all genres, especially fiction

The “Quarter Corner” near the tech lab is constantly renewed with children’s and young adult books for 25 cents each, and remember, every child and teen gets one of these books free each time they visit the library.

Even though we have a large selection of electronic media, donations of any and all audio books on CD, music CDs, and movies on DVDS would be especially appreciated. Our bookstore and support of the library depend on donations by members of the community. The bookstore always appreciates donations in all categories, both fiction and nonfiction, in clean, resalable condition. Please, no magazines or encyclopedias. Receipts are available for tax purposes.
