Friends of Sherwood Library bookstore weekly features

This week the Friends of Sherwood Library bookstore is open on Wednesday from 1 – 4 PM and Sunday, 1 – 3 PM. The library is located at 2501 Sherwood Hall Lane, Alexandria, 22306.

New this week, we are offering a lovely 27-volume softcover set of seafarer fiction books by Alexander Kent. Two separate editions of the Harvard Classics are also available, single volumes or by the set.

SPECIAL, just in time for Valentine’s Day: thanks to a generous donation of like-new romance paperbacks, we are able to offer a special price of $1 per bagful on the popular genre. We supply the bags.

February’s spotlight shines on one of our lesser-known collections: “Photography: how-to tips, and beautiful results.” Look for these books in the sales room on the bookcase near the door.

The bookstore always appreciates donations in all categories, both fiction and nonfiction, in resalable condition. Please, no magazines or encyclopedias. Receipts are available for tax purposes.
