HOLLYWOOD CASINO EVENT CENTER DRAWS MAJOR ACTS FOR 2015

LeAnn Rimes, O'Jays and Frank Caliendo to perform this January

Hollywood Casino is starting 2015 off right with an impressive lineup of acts at its Event Center. Kicking off the new year are R&B icons The O’Jays, followed by multi-platinum recording artist LeAnn Rimes, and last but not least, comedian and impressionist, Frank Caliendo.

The O’Jays, known for their soulful R&B, have placed 35 singles on the R&B chart, nine of which went to #1. Hits include “Love Train,” Use ta be My Girl,” and “Back Stabbers.” Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2005, the group has been making music for over 50 years.

Second to perform is LeAnn Rimes, who burst onto the country scene with her single “Blue” at just 13 years old. A year later she was voted Best New Artist of 1997 at the Grammy Awards. Rimes has since released 16 studio albums and sold more than 37 million records. Throughout her career she has earned an American Music Award, two Grammy Awards, three Academy of Country Music Awards and twelve Billboard Music Awards – cementing her status as a country music superstar.

Rounding out January’s entertainment is comedian Frank Caliendo. Known for his work on ESPN’s “NFL Countdown,” “The Tonight Show” and “Late Night with David Letterman,” his impeccable impressions are not to be missed. Caliendo’s act is a high-energy blend of observational comedy, characters and stories that will leave audiences clamoring for more.
