Labor Day Weekend Weather: You May Get Wet

The forecast in northern Virginia is mostly sunny for Friday and partly sunny for Saturday, with temperatures staying in the low to mid 80s.

On Sunday, there’s a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon, and there’s a 50 percent chance of thunderstorms Sunday night.

On Labor Day, the chance for showers and thunderstorms returns Monday afternoon, with a 30 percent chance. That chance for wet weather continues into Monday night.
