The Miracle Worker at Aldersgate Church Community Theater
Two more weekends to see the show given 5 STARS! by DC Metro Theater Arts "It wasn't just good - it was fantastic!...the acting was superb."

Two weekends remain to see this stunning production of The Miracle Worker at ACCT (Aldersgate Church Community Theater), directed by Eddie Page. Based on Helen Keller’s autobiography, Story of My Life; and Annie Sullivan’s writings, William Gibson’s Tony award-winning script dramatizes how the young and inexperienced Annie Sullivan teaches language to the deaf, blind, and mute child, Helen Keller. Helen went on to become the first deaf, blind and mute woman to graduate from college. Critics write:
“For eight minutes on stage, Annie Sullivan (Meghan Landon) and Helen Keller (Lucy Roberts) are at war. No words are exchanged...The physicality of this scene, choreography that took five hours to block, showcases the incredible talent of these two young actors.” - Sarah Kayak, Alexandria News
“A truly impressive performance by young actress Lucy Roberts...Who you will really remember...is Meghan Landon and Lucy Roberts as Annie Sullivan and Helen Keller.” - Julia Exline, DC Metro Theater Arts
